$50 off for NYWC Wrestlers attending Ken
Chertow’s HTC 11/28-30 Ken Chertow has offered a $50 discount to all Neshaminy wrestlers who attend his camp over the
Thanksgiving break. That brings the price down to only $125 for 11 hours of instruction from a US Olympian,
two nights lodging, and meals. The
Thanksgiving camp was the first Chertow camp we ever attended and it really kicks the kids in gear early in the
season. It is cool, because it is actually held at his home training facility. There is
a room upstairs for the older, more experienced group, and another one downstairs for the little guys. The training
is Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning. On Sunday there is a Top 100 tournament in State College, which I have attached, so it's a good way to finish off
the weekend. Ken’s camps are great, not so much because he shows "special" moves needed to succeed,
but rather because he demonstrates the intensity and desire that is required to be a champion. I will be attending and assisting Friday and Saturday,
but plan on leaving Saturday night, to attend the Voorhees Tournament in NJ. If anyone is interested in
going (and if they need a ride) let me know. To get the discount we must enroll by Friday November 21st.
Print out the attached application, fill it out and bring it to the Thursday November 20th practice.
